Consumed by Service
What if, in trying so hard to serve God, we fail to love the people God first entrusted to us? No calling, commitment, or service should require us to neglect those under our care. If our devotion leaves our families carrying the cost, perhaps what we call sacrifice deserves a second look. Not everything we give up is noble. Sometimes, it is simply misplaced priority, not the faithfulness we imagine it to be.
